I simply got tired of listening to other people's crappy electronic music, so I decided to make my own crappy electronic music.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
I think it all started some twenty years ago when Electronic Arts released a music creator for the Commodore 64. I've dabbled with creating music since then. First on an Amiga, then came the PC, this whole thing really has evolved beyond any imagination...
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
This is electronic music... It is the most anti-live music you can have...
Your musical influences
I LOVE MUSIC. Plain and simple. Everything I've ever heard has inspired me... I'm just as much into Pearl Jam, as I am into the Roots. I've listened to bands like Culture Beat whilst at the same time I was rocking hard to Sepultura's best efforts. I think everyone has at the very least one verygood song in them, regardless of genre.
As far as my music, I always tend to get lost in the French electro sounds. Air has clearly been one of the groups I was listening to a lot, especially their fully instrumental albums.
What equipment do you use?
My trusty COMPAQ keyboard, an infrared mouse and any kind of tracker or eJ software I can get my hands on.
Anything else?
I have three heads and in my spare time I like to play on my bagpipe, flute and saxophone simultaneously... :-)
